I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Indian restaurant, and I can confidently say it’s the best Indian restaurant in Harlow, Essex. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was nothing short of exceptional—authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. We tried a mix of classic dishes and chef's specials, and every bite was delicious. Tandoori chicken St Chicken Tikka Balti Naga chicken the spicy one still I'm remember and Special Fried Rice Peshwari Nan were standout favorites. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with top-notch Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

This was a very pleasant surprise in Old Harlow. Excellent all round and great value. I loved the Naga Lamb but it does have a kick! Strongly recommended. And a convenient free car park round the corner.

The food was absolutely phenomenal—rich in authentic flavors, cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the chicken tikka masala and the lamb rogan josh, both of which were bursting with flavor. The naan was soft and fresh, and the pilau rice paired perfectly with every dish. If you're craving high-quality Indian cuisine in a relaxed, friendly setting, this is the place to go. Highly Recommend the Bengal. A very welcoming restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The staff are extremely attentive and efficient, no matter how busy they are. The food is simply delicious. It's easily the best Indian Restaurant in Harlow, and likely the best I've ever had anywhere. This is a place and my family and I frequent quite often after discovering the quality of the food and service that are provided here, it has become quite addicting. This occasion though was special as it was my mother's Birthday and when the staff discovered this they provided her with a special Birthday additional dish as a surprise. Using their knowledge of her previous orders and remembering details of her likes and dislikes that they had previously discovered on prior visits they were able to tailor this dish to be something that she would like. Incredibly thoughtful, and showing their attention to detail. Their service is really impressive, and their food is certainly in another league of its own against other Restaurants in the area. My grandad, who is quite the Indian food connoisseur and frequents many different Indian restaurants outside of Harlow, also said that he would very much want to return and that he loved the food, whereas every other time he has visited us for an Indian meal in Harlow at other restaurants he has just said that he wished that we had gone out of Harlow to one of his favourites. That didn't happen here because it became a favourite of his on his first visit.

The moment we entered, we were welcomed with genuine smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The food was absolutely outstanding perfectly balanced spices, and each dish clearly prepared with care. We enjoyed a selection that included the Lamb Rogan Josh, Special Murug Masala, Garlic Chilli Chicken, and the chef’s signature Bengal Special chicken, Garlic Naan and Coconut Rice were perfect accompaniments. Every dish had its own unique taste and was served piping hot. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure we were well looked after throughout the evening.
